Q: How long in advance may we book an outing?
A: Groups may call the Golf Shop (508-759-8802) up to one year in advance to reserve space for golf outings.
Q: How many golfers are required to hold a shotgun start, and what restrictions exist for shotguns?
A: Shotgun start requests are encouraged for any size group over 40 players. Our golf staff can accommodate almost all of these inquiries given the proper lead time and accurate count of golfers. Naturally, getting all of your friends off at the same time benefits your group in terms of food & beverage needs after your round. For groups exceeding 80 golfers - Bay Pointe normally dedicates the entire course to your shotgun start for your group, ensuring a successful day for all concerned.
Q: What about receptions? How does one find out about menus and pricing for our group’s food & beverage needs?
A: As you consider Bay Pointe for the venue of your golfing group, we encourage outing coordinators to call our Banquet Manager, Carolyn Capone. She can not only tailor the meal to your preferences, but quote you an accurate price so your final decision can be made in an informed fashion. Or, if you have already booked a date for your golf outing, we can have Carolyn call you directly in order to confirm any f & b plans you might have. Q: What makes Bay Pointe so great for golf outings?
A: As most outings in Southeastern Massachusetts invite golfers from a variety of locales, Bay Pointe’s central location is a huge plus. Furthermore, being just five minutes from Route 495 just off Cape , many folks appreciate not crossing the bridges onto Cape Cod .
Bay Pointe strives to provide extra service in many ways to golf groups. We provide complimentary scoreboard and scoring services. Operating a new golf cart fleet accessorized with rooftops, adjustable windshields and customized cart signage, every detail will be organized so your golfers will feel comfortable and welcome for a fun day of golf.
Outing coordinators, both PGA Professionals, Tom Tobey and Mick Herron walk group leaders through every facet of their event, planning and advising for maximum success.
We can assist with ordering embroidered merchandise, obtaining hole-in-one insurance, printing rules sheets and programs, and our golf staff has over 30 years of experience covering every aspect of charitable fund-raising techniques.
All in all, Bay Pointe’s golf facility is built to host golf outings. From the meandering green fairways to the terrific reception options, coupled with old fashioned organizational service from an attentive staff, your group will be treated with the respect they deserve.
Q: We have lots of out-of-towners, where can they stay overnight?
A: Bay Pointe has official lodging partners including smaller inns, as well as larger hotels in the area. Many of whom also offer golf packaging through their facilities – when playing Bay Pointe or other area courses.

Q: How about the price of golf for outings?
A: Pre-booked groups of golfers (12 or more golfers) receive $4 pp discount off the applicable posted rates for that time of season any of week. Note: no outings will be booked on Wednesdays utilizing the Wednesday Special daily fee. If groups would like to play Wednesdays, prices will be the normal weekday fee for that time of year less the discount. Please review our normal daily fees on this website for further info.
