Golf Course Policies |
Daily fee golfers may call the Bay Pointe Golf Shop (508-759-8802) up to three weeks in advance to make reservations. Credit cards are required for groups of 12 golfers or more.
DRESS CODE:
Appropriate attire is required. Tank tops, cut-off jeans, shirts without sleeves, and metal spiked golf shoes are prohibited.
RENTAL CLUBS: 
We currently offer full set rental clubs for a modest fee of $15 per rental.
A credit card or license is required to rent golf clubs.
RAIN CHECKS:
Bay Pointe leads the industry in offering the most liberal rain checks anywhere. Our UNIVERSAL RAIN CHECK can be obtained for any round stoppage reason, including rain, slow play, injury, emergency, etc. Merely ask in the golf shop and our staff will happily issue you and/or your friends this universal rain check which may be redeemed anytime in the next 12 months.
GOLF CARTS:
A valid drivers license is required to rent a golf cart. Permits are not considered a valid license. Golf carts should be driven in restricted areas at all times, obeying signage, cart paths and avoiding heavily wooded areas. Two golfers a
nd two bags maximum unless permission is granted from the golf shop staff.
Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to ride golf carts without golf shop permission.
It is the sole responsibility of the renter to pay for all damages incurred during a round of golf to the golf cart while in the renter’s possession.
RECEIPTS:
Each and every daily fee golfer must show their receipt to the ranger if asked for verification on a given day. These receipts are also mandatory when requesting a universal rain check.
ETIQUETTE:
It is the responsibility of every golfer who plays Bay Pointe to adhere to basic “rules of the road”. Observing proper etiquette - avoiding slow play, replacing divots, fixing ball marks, raking bunkers and driving golf carts properly make for an enjoyable day for your fellow golfers.
Golf Course Rangers have the authority to not only warn golfers of breaches of etiquette, but to remove said golfers upon the second offense.
Golf course maintenance staff who may be working on the course during play periods are instructed to allow golfers safe passage. However, in some cases, when projects require continual work on some part of the course, maintenance staff should be warned of oncoming errant shots, etc.
The complete safety of all golfers and staff is our ultimate goal.
